In addition to these topics, he has taught extensively in the College of Arts and Sciences on the role of liberal arts in the world beyond the academy. He directs and teaches in the UVA Catalyst Program. His award-winning work has appeared in Current Anthropology, Anthropological Quarterly, Ethos, Sapiens, and other venues.
